Sicily was once a city-state in its own right, ruled from catania over southern Italy, Sicily under the Angioins, a kingdom governed from Sicily that comprised both the island itself and most of Southern Italy. The unification of Italy of 1860 led to the dissolution of this kingdom, and became a part of it.  Of all the regions of Italy, Sicily is the one that covers the largest land area at 25,708 square kilometres (9,926 sq mi) and currently has just over five million inhabitants. The island also holds importance for acheologist.

Villa Del Mare is located in the bay of Mazzarò (Taormina seaside), considered as one of the most beautiful bays in Italy.  The bay has many shops, restaurants and bars.  It is only 50 meters away from the cable car which takes you in the centre of Taormina in just 3 minutes (it is not possible to have the main town and the sea in Taormina at the same time), only 50 meters away from the beaches of the bay  and only 100 meters from the Isola Bella beach.  Villa Del Mare is built in 2 floors as we wanted to separate completely the bedrooms from the living room and kitchen.  There is a garden below the villa built with "authentic sicilian stone".  On the first floor is the living room with kitchen and a small bathroom and a balcony overlooking the bay.  On the 2nd floor are the 2 double bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms and the balcony overlooking the bay.  There is also another room with a single bed in case of a 5-th person with another bathroom.  From The 2nd floor a staircase will let you reach the terrace.  Every room of the villa is fully climatized and has tv colour satellite.
The views from the villa are unique in the whole Sicily.  The Calabria coast visible from the balconies and the terrace is magnificient... 
"Villa Del Mare is only for people with feelings... as the atmosphere, the amazing sea views, the balconies in the night with the lights of the garden are something i cannot describe in words...
